    To create a Wemus account, download the app from your app store, open it, and follow the on-screen instructions to sign up. You will need to provide your phone number for verification.
  • How do I edit my profile information?
    You can edit your profile information by going to the "Profile" section in the app. Tap on the "Edit Profile" button to update your details, such as your bio, photos, and preferences.
  • Who Wemus app is for?
    Wemus is strictly for single Muslim individuals who are 18 years of age or older and are seeking marriage. Our platform is designed to help you find a life partner within the Muslim community, adhering to the values and principles of Islam.
  • What information should I include in my profile?
    Include details that reflect your personality, interests, and what you're looking for in a match.
  • Can I use Wemus without creating an account?
    No, a Wemus account is required to access our features and connect with potential matches.
  • How do I report a suspicious profile?
    If you encounter a suspicious profile or any behavior that concerns you, please report it using the reporting feature on the app. Our team will promptly review the report and take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for all users. How to report:​ ​ On the app: ​ Step 1: Go to their profile Step 2: Tap on the menu " : " (2 dots on the right hand top corner) Step 3: Let us know why you’re reporting them (select the appropriate option from the menu and write your comments/observations) Step 4: Submit report ​ Outside the app: ​ Email us at hello@wemus.app Note: For your security please email us only from the email address associated with your Wemus account.
  • Can Wemus access my conversations?
    Your conversations on Wemus are private. We do not access or share your personal messages unless required by law or necessary to investigate complaints of unlawful or harmful behavior.
  • How can I ensure my interactions on Wemus are safe?
    We encourage all users to follow our Safety tips, which include verifying profiles, being cautious with sharing personal information, and reporting any suspicious activity. Our support team is always available to help if you encounter any issues.
  • What happens to my data if I delete my account?
    When you request account deletion, your profile and information are taken offline and are no longer visible to other members. After a retention period for safety and legal reasons, your personally identifiable information will be permanently deleted. This helps us comply with legal obligations and ensure the integrity of our community.
  • Do I have to give Wemus my phone number?
    Yes, providing your phone number is required when creating an account on Wemus. This helps us verify your identity, ensuring a safer and more authentic community. Your phone number is kept private and is not shared with other users.
  • How does Wemus use my phone number?
    We use your phone number for identity verification to ensure that each profile is authentic. You'll receive a 6-digit code via SMS to enter into the app for verification. Rest assured, your phone number remains confidential and is not shared with other users.
  • How do I start a chat with someone on Wemus?
    To start a chat with someone on Wemus, first make sure you have a match. Once you match with someone, you can begin a conversation by sending them a message through the chat feature.
  • Can I send photos in chats?
    Yes, you can send photos in chats on Wemus. This feature allows you to share images directly with your matches, enhancing your conversations.
  • What should I do if someone is harassing me in chat?
    If someone is harassing you in chat, you can block the user and report the incident to Wemus’ support team. Wemus takes harassment seriously and will take appropriate action to ensure your safety.
  • Can I chat with multiple people at once?
    Yes, you can chat with multiple people simultaneously. There is no limit to the number of chats you can have at one time.
  • Why has a profile disappeared from my app?
    If you notice that a profile has disappeared from your app, it is likely because the user has deactivated their account or blocked you. If they choose to reactivate their account, the profile will become visible again. We understand this might be frustrating, but try not to take it personally. Your ideal match is still out there!
  • Why have I not got any matches?
    There could be several reasons why you haven't received any matches yet: Profile Completeness: Ensure your profile is fully completed with a clear photo and detailed bio. Activity: Engage regularly with the app to increase your visibility. Preferences: Review your match preferences to ensure they are not too restrictive. Location: Check if there are enough active users in your area. Patience: Sometimes, it just takes a bit of time to find the right match. Keep engaging and stay patient.
